"Millgate House Hotel" was originally a home for "wayward girls" in the 1800's and became a miller's house in 1890.
It was subsequently converted into flats in 1972 and then became "Millgate House Hotel" in 1981. A substantial extension was added 1991 which tripled the room capacity (all furnished to a very high standard) and which now includes the popular `Orangery Bar & Restaraunt' The meeting room seats 20 in boardroom and 30 with theatre seating style. Adjoining lounge and private bar is available. Equipment provided includes a screen, overhead projector and writing pad. Private dining for 24 in the Blue Room with optional bar is also available. Hot & Cold buffet lunches and refreshments available
